These two info graphics are exactly how I envision my comparative topic to lay out splitting Aston Kutcher’s two personalities. I see the left side explaining the popular mindset that so many people have of Kutcher based on his character Michael Kelso on that 70’s show. The right side will be the more business oriented personality that is attempting to help make the world a better place.

This project deals with the relationship between my blood sugar levels and my mood. The graph is further broken down into my surroundings and time of day that these blood sugar/mood relationships occurred.
The circular graph starts in the middle moving outwards into 4 different rings. Each ring adds a new factor into the equation. The middle is the location dictated by 4 colors; red means I was at home, yellow means I was at work, orange means I was at school, and pink means I was at in another location such as downtown, friends homes, etc. The second ring adds in the aspect of time of day. The upright triangles show it was before 12 PM and the upside down triangles denote it was after 12 PM. The third ring finally shows the levels of my blood sugars with in the two previous restraints. The square dignifies my blood sugar is high (above 200 mg/dl). The circle means my blood sugar was in a normal range (between 100 and 200 mg/dl). The star means my blood sugar was low (below 100 mg/dl). The final ring finally breaks it down into the mood I was feeling under all these circumstances. If the shapes are filled in then at that time I was in a bad mood or feeling sluggish or drained. If the shapes only have a stroke then that dignifies I was in a good mood or felt energized or motivated. The final tick marks signify how many blood sugar checks were taken under the final combination of circumstances. An easy way to read this would be to pick a section in the final ring of the graph and add the different components together using the key to find out how many times last week I had a certain feeling and potentially why I had that feeling. For example, if a section is yellow + an upright triangle + a square + is filled in and has 2 tick marks then there 2 instances last week where I was at work in the morning with a high blood sugar and was feeling sluggish/in a bad mood/ drained.
The overall significance of this graph for myself is to show me, in a nutshell, not only the trends my blood sugar had last week, but also how these levels affect me. It can also show some trends of places I spend a lot of time that my management of my diabetes as a whole can improve. For example, at work last week there is a huge amount of time where my blood sugar was high. These times affect my ability to function properly. I may not be able to think in a logical manner, operate the machinery I need to in a safe way, or handle problematic situations in the proper way. This overall is a basic visual of how my week was last week which overall wasn’t great.
As it says this is a Tree Map depicting the worlds more prominent religions and how large their following is. Each sect is distinguished by a different color, but it feels as though some what similar religions are closer in the shades of each color used. Like Christianity, Islam, and Judaism are all a shade of pink because they have similar backgrounds. The artist also used size in the religions symbols to represent the size of their following.
